Production - Website Progress (1/11/24)

 

I added a popup that shows up when you click on the website. The pictures are a slideshow and change every few seconds and I also used a gif to add intertextuality

Production - Logo

 I wanted my logo to convey the themes of my magazine - a music magazine centered around new, up-and-coming musicians - whilst keeping a clean and recognizable look to it.

I settled for the name 'NewGen', which is a play on words for New Generation - to summarise that the magazine focused on recency.

My initial designs for the logo were as follows:

I chose to further develop the first version of the logo as it conveyed the meaning best out of the three and could not be mistaken for any other type of magazine.
